PLEASE READ. This book taught me to be my own natural person that i was born to be so that i can succeed, make a nice living, and live healthy and strong without the use of drugs. Before you take that one little whiff of powder think twice. Holding hands with the "Monster" is the worst life someone could ask for. You might be able to pull a nice party but in the end... Losing trust in family, friends, teachers. Not being able to participate in clubs or special schools or sports. It makes you very skinny which has bad long term effects.(anorexia) Crack also destroys the pleasure center which in the long run makes you more depressed where you have to use it even more. Also, you live shorter than others, and you come up with many health problems and it literally sucks the beauty out of you. This book should only be read by teens or older. Ellen Hopkins is a very freaky book writer but also very good and challenging. These books persuade readers to not do drugs. The ends are quite servere. They show how bad drugs are for people and why you shouldnt do them. I was inspired by others who made book trailers. Reasons why i like these books : Poetry, as in the video i show you words on pages. Those are really the quotes and pages from the book. That is how the words are set up and alligned. Not many words are on a page so each book of her books are all around 600-800 pages but you would go through it just like a regular 200-300 page book. Also, it goes by fast and there is always something happening that is exciting. I think you should read it. My name is Regena.
