Corvus Energy 2.5kWh 12V Transport Heavy Truck Lithium Ion Battery Test.
This battery has enough energy to crank a 14 liter truck engine for about 15 minutes without stopping. The battery has 1200 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) and is equivalent to about 8-10 lead acid batteries of a similar size and weight. In this video we are testing the cranking ability and checking for any thermal issues. The battery was fine but the cables began to get warm after about 30 seconds of constant cranking. Larger gauge cable with lower resistance would be necessary if constant cranking were required.
